Hello. It’s Gaylynn with my Technique Time series. Today, I am showing a way to obtain ink pad stamp shading with two-tone stamping and stamp layers. This is a no coloring option for stamping.
Here are two cards, made similar with different sentiments. This involves stamp layering in coordinating colors using ink pad stamp shading. See below for details and a video tutorial.
Sending my thanks.
Here are helpful tips for creating these cards using ink pad stamp shading. To begin, pre-cut and trim the deer panel and the sentiment panel. Next, stamp the whole background layer in the lightest shade of gray. Then, stamp the edges inward on the background in a darker gray, without covering the entire stamp. Also, stamp the sentiment. Now, stamp the deer antlers in the center of the background, once with light pink and then around the edges inward in a darker pink. Finally, layer and assemble the card and embellishments to finish.
Here is another look.
Finally, here is my video tutorial for this project. It will detail the full process. Take a look at the process.
