Hello. We are starting a new challenge today. I am excited about this challenge and am hoping you will have lots fun with this one.
The Challenge
This challenge will run through the month of February. The idea is to create any card or project with your smaller stamps. Unity has a wonderful line of Itty Bitty stamps that are so affordable. Many of their larger kits also include some smaller stamps. These tinier stamps can be a challenge to use. I am hoping you will have fun finding creative ways to showcase these smaller stamps and make them take center stage on your cards.
Inspiration #1
This first example combines the keys from Magic Inside All of Us with the Itty Bitty stamp You are Magical. I randomly stamped the keys with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink all over an A2 size piece of card stock and then trimmed it down 1/8″ on the top and one side. I stamped the Itty Bitty sentiment and trimmed it down. I distressed the edges and then blended Distress Oxide in Black Soot over both pieces and matted them both with red card stock before assembling the card.
Inspiration #2
This card uses the stamp set Frankie. I stamped the sentiment and the frog on a piece of card stock cut down with a stitched die. I colored Frankie with Copics in YG 93, YG95, & YG97. This was matted with green card stock. I took a yellow piece of card stock and cut it down with my largest stitched rectangle die and stamped Frankie randomly over this piece using Distress Oxide in in Wild Honey. This yellow panel was matted with the same green card stock. I placed the matted Frankie over a circle and then layered everything together.
Focus on the Tiny Challenge
This challenge will go from today until the end of February. Make any card or project using an Itty Bitty stamp or a smaller stamp from any other kit. There are so many ways to showcase these smaller stamps and Unity has so many wonderful ones to choose from. Be sure to enter your card in the challenge album on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook page.
