Hello everyone. I can’t believe how fast January if flying by. The New Beginnings challenge is still going and I would love for you all to join in. There are prizes from Unity and everything.
I love these latest cards I made for the challenge. Gray and yellow are such a beautiful combo.
This first card uses the fabulous January Kit of the Month, You are Enough-New Beginnings. I paper pieced the top using a piece of gray patterned paper and matted the sentiment with it. She was colored with Copics and then cut out with a stitched die. This was mounted on a piece of yellow patterned paper from the same pack. The sentiment from this kit can be used for just about anything you want to send a card of encouragement for.
I have one last card for this challenged. I used the beautiful floral image from Array of Fall. The flower was stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and colored with with Zig Clean color markers. The sentiment came from the Kit of the Month, Whole Lot of Lovely. The panel with cut down with stitched die and then I wrapped some organza ribbon around it and tied a bow. Another great card for someone beginning a new adventure in life.
This is the final days of the New Beginnings challenge. You still have plenty of time to enter.
Remember your card or project can be for any life event from a new baby, job change or new attitude. I hope you can play along and build your stash of cards at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing what you share.
All you need to do is create a card for the theme and enter it in the album on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook page.
