Hello. I hope you are all enjoying this tiny challenge. This week, I am using my tinier stamps to let my patterned paper really shine. I don’t know about you, but I have tons of patterned paper and some of it is just too lovely or fun to hide behind a bigger image.
Inspiration #1
This card uses an Itty Bitty stamp called Mushy Little Guy which I colored with Copic markers. Cut this down with a wonky stitched square die and blend Distress Oxide in Brushed Corduroy around the edges. I used two papers from the Unity Stamp Company’s paper packĀ Love is in the Air. Cut both pieces down to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and use the scrap from the striped piece to edge the heart piece. I then trimmed this down and inked the edges with the same Distress Oxide and matted it on Kraft card stock. Next I stamped the sentiment, inked the edges and punched two holes in one end. I used burlap string to tie it to the card.
Inspiration #2
The second card I made uses another Itty Bitty stamp called Loved More. This was stamped on a piece of white card stock and colored with my Copic markers. I trimmed it down to just around the edges of the stamp and doodled a border to match the black patterned paper from the Romantic Expressions paper pack. I used the argyle paper from Love is in the Air and again cut it down to an A2 size and used the scrap to anchor my image on the card. I used the remaining scrap to cut the two outline hearts.
Focus on the Tiny Challenge
This challenge will go from today until the end of February. Make any card or project using an Itty Bitty stamp or a smaller stamp from any other kit. There are so many ways to showcase these smaller stamps and Unity has so many wonderful ones to choose from. Be sure to enter your card in the challenge album on theĀ Unity Show and Tell Facebook page.
