Fabulous Friday Unies!
I am such a “sentiment” type of girl. When Unity started selling Grab Bags, I always looked for the sentiments. I promptly stamped and catalogued them. Now actual Sentiment Kits, that is where I get myself and my cart in trouble! Lisa Arana designs the best sets. I am using “…girl truly” today paired with the Spellbinders Kaleidoscope die I have had for two years and have never used. These three cards are also easy to make and perfect for when you don’t want to color or include an image.
I used three different card stocks (metallic silver and pink and a darker silver) with adhesive sheets on the back. Die cut all three colors. You will have three different prism frames with a whole bunch of triangles. Attach each to a separate piece of paper that will serve as the backing. Cut along the edge of the prism to recover the original shape of the die.The beauty of this die is that the center is big enough for larger sentiments. Arrange and adhere the little triangles and colors as you like. Stamp and/or emboss your sentiment in the middle.
To finish your 4.25 x 5.5 top folding card, cut a 4 x 5.25 piece of card stock (black and pink here) and either use it as a smooth background, or use an embossing folder to give the card more texture. Apply double sided tape under the prism and adhere to the base. The prism is slightly larger than the standard A2; cut alongside the edge of the card to cut the points sticking over.
I hope you enjoyed today’s fabulous trio and will dig into your stash for long last dies
who are begging to be used!
