Hi there! Welcome to the Unity Blog! Today I have a fun way to use the ever-popular Say It Big stamp. What a fun way to create with the same stamp with rainbows.
For this project, I am using the Say It Big stamp set, for the background I used the Baby Boy Plaid for the background as it has so many clean lines and the gray ink color provides a nice background.
To begin this card we will be placing the Say It Big stamp set on a MISTI as I will be using multiple ink colors and would like to be able to stamp over and over without having my paper shifting. I used 8 ink colors. I started the red on the “b” and if some of the red ink went on the “I” I used a wipe to clean it off. I repeated the inking of each letter and cleaning the ones I didn’t mean to get inked.
I know it sounds complicated, but it really its all very easy. Once that was done, I grabbed the “greetings” sentiment and stamped it with black ink right under the birthday. Moving on to the background, Baby Boy Plaid. I used my ever favorite purple tape to mask the sentiment as close to the edges of the wording.
Once everything was masked, I inked the gray ink Baby Boy Plaid over the masked sentiment. Remove the masking tape to expose the very cool background and rainbow sentiment. I really wanted to add some more color to the background. I grabbed a trio of stars and with the same ink from the Say It Big and stamped them on the left corner of the birthday.
To finish up the card, I added some golden glitter Nuvo drops all around the stars to add some sparkle. That does it, a one layer card with lots of colors and dimensions without having to do a ton of masking. I am loving the use of different products to create this birthday card.
Thanks so much for joining me on this today. Happy Tuesday <3
