I wanted to see is I could achieve a watercolor look using Copic markers. It was a fun challenge. I coloreds the florals first then I decided how to finish the cards. Thats my usual process of creating. What’s yours? Do you start with the focal image the create the rest of the card or do you start with a background then add in the focal images?
Here are the Copic colors I used. What I did was start with the BGs for the center of the flowers. Then I used the RVs at the tips and blended the two colors together using the BV00. After all was colored I die cut the florals and added strips of the watercolored patterned paper to a die cut white card panel. Then I added a strip of black glitter paper. Splattered with diluted black acrylic paint. Added sentiments that I die cut and adhered to white card base.
