Hello Unies, Today I wanted to share some inspiration for those of you that don’t like to color, and still want to use all the glorious floral stamps Unity has.
Slim line cards are all the rage, so I jumped at the chance to make one using Peony Hugs!
- For the panel, cut a piece of Bristol smooth paper and measure 8 1/4 x 3.
- Using Gina K ink In Passion Pink, Blend several layers till you’re happy with the depth.
- Spritz that with some water and dry thoroughly {Your panel needs to be very dry for the next step.}
- After your panel is nice and dry, rub with Embossing buddy.
- Using your MISTI, place your stamp at one end, emboss using Versamark, do this a few times to get a nice impression.
- Flip the stamp and do the same to the other end.
- Go ahead and emboss with the Alabaster Sparkle Embossing Powder.
- Mount the whole panel in black.
For the Hey, I die cut it several times (you can use fun foam but I’m out) and glued to the front using Connect glue. I then adhered to front pop whole panel up on your base and added a few black sparkle enamel dots. I felt like I wanted a little more sparkle so I added Liquid Pixie Dust to the flowers only, this made them sparkle and slightly glossy.
That is it! No coloring just some ink blending, one stamp set, and a word die.
Next week I will be making masculine cards using floral stamps, so be sure to check back.
This challenge will go until the end of May.
Be sure to enter your card in the challenge album on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook page.
