Hi there! Welcome to my newest compilation of color combinations. With summer upon us, I felt we all needed a bright and happy set of cards. I decided it would be a fun idea to use ONE color combination for the rest of the month and use various techniques and looks using ONE Unity stamp. Naturally Beautiful by Gracielle Designs.
Our color combo is this gorgeous array of citrus notes with a pop of pink. You’re going to need two pieces of white card stock, a light blue ink with an ink blender, the above-mentioned stamp set, and foam adhesive.
Begin by stamping and water coloring your lemons from the Naturally beautiful stamp set, hand-cut, and set aside. Then on one of the white pieces of cardstock blend your blue ink and feathering out to create a soft-looking background.
Move on to doing our sentiment stamping, and we’re going to ink that up with black ink.
Now to put our card together, using the foam adhesive on both the short card panel and the lemons, place the card panel over the card base to create a mat. Then add your lemons to the side of the sentiment with foam adhesive too.
To finish up using a translucent pink Nuvo drops, we are adding a couple drops in various sizes. These will serve to embellish and to adhere to the friendship mix of sequins.
So that is my color combo today, which is very summery, very citrusy, right? And again, as I mentioned earlier, we’re going to be doing the same color combo with the same stamp for the next four weeks. I really hope that you enjoy this stamp and these projects
