Hi there! I am here with a Strawbery Lemonade inspired color combination. We are doing some DIY backgrounds doing the third installment of the naturally beautiful.
To begin we’re going to grab our naturally beautiful stamp. We’re going to begin by stenciling the background of my card panel. And so I am using a strip stencil here. And if you don’t have a strip stencil you can grab some purple masking tape, stripped down with the purple masking tape and you will achieve the same result.
Once the stencil or the purple tape is done, I am going to start with the pink ink, in this case, It’s A Girl. We are going to alternate on where we do our ink blending with pink and the scattered straw color from Distress Oxide. You do not have to have a solid surface of color. We want to give that ink blending that it gives it a really soft look. And again, a super-easy way to do some color, color coordinating with your inks. I’m going to remove my stencil. So, and now you have this really pretty soft look.
To put the card together I grabbed the pink oval frame, stamped the sentiment with pink ink on the white cardstock. Then using foam adhesive to put it together on the striped background. I have my lemon from the naturally beautiful stamp set that I had stamped and actually watercolored with Zig clean colors, and just really, again, keeping it super simple.
