Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Today I’m sharing a card that steps out of my normal comfort zone – instead of my usual clean and simple, I’m doing more of a vintage, grungy, mixed media style for this card!

I love all the layers and textures – this was my first time using the Distress Embossing Glazes, and they were super fun! Love how shiny and transparent they were – so you can still see all the detail of the images!
The added inking around the edges that layers together both Distress Ink and Distress Oxide inks – then a bit of sparkly splatter with Perfect Pearls mixed with water helps create the textured background.
And finally – adding the distressed edges is the perfect bit of texture for a finishing touch!
