Today I’m sharing my first card using the new August Kit of the Month – and sharing a simple technique for creating custom frames for your cards using basic dies!

I love the hint of fall in this kit – while I’m thoroughly enjoying a rather late to arrive summer here in the Northwest US, fall has always been one of my favorite seasons!
Adding the simple die cut frame is a great way to highlight the simple image and sentiment on a CAS card like this!
A bit of simple coloring and black splatters finish this card off!
