Hey there. Crystal Thompson here. Welcome back today we’re doing our third installment doing a dark marker coloring for color combos with Crystal. We are using the awesome stamp, Everything Happens for a Reason. This was released back in June and I have and colored with Copic. It was a very easy coloring the image, some gold onto the centers of the flower and the edges.
So again, we’re just going to go ahead and add those itty bitty pieces. It took me about four to five minutes to fully cover color this image, but I felt it was well worth it. Once it is all colored, I actually added just a little bit of dots, and this is why I’m saying that you don’t need to use COPIC markers as we are not really blending just coloring. You’re just using it as a solid mask of color.
Now to put our card together, I have my card stocks ready to go. So I have this black card stock that is slim. So it’s the same width as our Copic coloring a floral from Earlier and, but it’s longer. So it’s going to match the length of our card base. We’re going to place it right on the center of the card base.
And it kind of makes it look like slimline card, which is really popular right now. You just get that little illusion by adding that black card stock on it, and then matting it. And I’m going to color the edges of this to make it look fully completed.
I’m going to flip this card around and I’m going to bring in foam adhesive it’s going to add dimension and raise it. We’re going to add this to our four and a quarter by five and a half card base.
I love making the size of cards because I have a ton of envelopes, so you can buy pretty much anywhere. And there you have the card-based ready to go. Now, last but not least we’re using that hello SVG that I have designed, and this hello SVG is free. You don’t have to purchase anything. And so the whole series for the last three weeks has been using. This SVG to take your Unity Stamp images to a whole other level!
