Hi there. Welcome back to another round of Color Combos with Crystal! Aren’t we all shopping for school supplies? Oh my gosh. We are so framing this up with acetate to celebrate how fun back 2 school can be. I am loving this beautiful new stamp from Unity Stamp company called SCHOOL SUPPLIES BORDER . Then for the sentiment,
we are using the fun and happy BEAUTIFUL LIKE THAT because the fonts are large and vibrant.
Other supplies needed are:
- Hot pink cardstock
- Copics
- Fine Glitter
- Foam adhesive squares
- Clear glue
- Acetate
- Roller tape adhesive
- Embellishments
We are going to begin by stamping and coloring the school supply image onto some white cardstock. Then placing that over the pink cardstock which will mat the stamped card leaving the 4 edges exposed and matting it. Once that is done, bring in you little foam squares, adding those to the corner of the card, double them up by placing one on top of the other. Add your layer of Acetate and it gives the card a very cool and vibrant look.
We’re going to bring in the little jewels and don’t ask me where these are from. Ha! I know it doesn’t cover that completely, but it really just gives it a little fun look.
To finish up grab your liquid glue, and add some round embellishments to the words and image and top off with the fine glitter. Remove the excess and man it looks pretty fun!
