Hey there! Welcome back to another installment of Color Combos with Crystal. We are continuing to play with stencils and lovely stamps from Unity Stamp Company. For this card we are feeling the fall vibe that is just around the corner. So with that said, our color combos are fall inspired!
For this card you are going to need the following items:
- August Sentiment Kit – Heart of Autumn
- Beautiful Like That Set
- Distress Oxide in Spiced Marmalade, Shabby Shutters, Fired Brick, Scattered Straw
- Kraft Cardstock
- Foil Cardstock
- Stencil
- Ink Blender
- Copics
- Scissors
- Foam Adhesive
- Regular roller adhesive
- Scissors!
We’re going to begin by placing our stencil onto that card panel. And we’re going to use some washy tape and( I love using cheap wash you take for this purpose just because it’s not very sticky and it won’t tear up the cardstock) So my stencil is ready to go.
Using your ink blenders start by ink blending from the left corner down with Spiced Marmalade, then Shabby Shutters, Scattered Straw and Fired Brick . Feel free to add more color to create a more blended look.
Proceed to removing your stencil, I then brought in my image from Heart of Autumn that has been colored with Copics. The Sentiment from Beautiful like that is stamped on top and then fuzzy cut all around. I doubled up on foam adhesive, and place it over my kraft Ombre cardstock.
Add this layer to the bottom foil cardstock. Then embellish as you wish.
