Hi Friends!
I’m happy to be hanging out with you all for another month long challenge! This my final challenge for you here at Unity and it’s also the end of another summer for me ! {Sniffle Sniffle } Time sure does fly by when you’re having fun eh?
For my third and final challenge, I’m hoping you’ll grab yourself a nice cup of coffee (or tea if you prefer) and stamp along with me!
I start off each day with a STRONG cup of coffee (sometimes two or three depending on how late I stayed up crafting the night before!) so I thought this month we would have a whole “latte” fun creating projects centered around…. yep.. you guessed it! COFFEE!
Unity makes it so very easy for you to play along with me this month! There are TONS of beautiful images centered around coffee…. including MANY gals enjoying a cup of this liquid goodness.
If you are a coffee lover, like myself, how do you drink your coffee? Plain? With cream and sugar? Do you have a favorite flavor? For me, my absolute FAVORITE flavored coffee is Caramel topped with whipped cream and toffee bits! YUMMMMYYY!!!
Today I’m sharing a card I made with one of my favorite coffee stamp kits called “Stay Strong”
and I paired it using the gorgeous paper pack “Coffee Lovers” paper pack !
Here’s this week’s “inkspiration” for you as well as how I made it!

- I started off with a white card base and cut the patterned paper to the same size and glued this paper to the cardbase
- Next I took a strip of Canson Watercolor paper and stamped the coffee image with Archival ink
- On a separate scrap piece of watercolor paper I also stamped the flower and the sentiment strip
- Both the coffee image and the flower image were colored with Arteza watercolor pens
- Once the images were dry I cut out the flower and attached a brad in the center (remember brads?!) and then using foam adhesive attached it to my coffee image
- I then attached the coffee image to a coordinating cardstock mat cut to size as shown and glued this to my cardstock base.
- The sentiment was also matted onto a coordinating cardstock mat (as shown) and adhered with foam adhesive
- I stamped the words “be happy” in the bottom corner as shown
- To top off the scrumptious whipped cream, I added some glittery crystal effects and beads
- A few sequins were scattered for extra accents
Now it’s YOUR turn! Go ahead and grab your Unity stamps and create projects showing off you’re favorite “hug in a mug” –whatever that may be! Don’t forget to upload to the “Whole Latte Fun” album over at Unity Show and Tell so we can all enjoy your creativity!
See you next Thursday with more inkspiration!
