Hi there! Happy Tuesday, today I have a simple yet elegant card. I am teaching how to make a partially shaped card without dies. My goal with this card was to keep elegant black and heat embossing with the ever-popular rose gold.
To make this card, I raided my stash to find a pretty shape and landed with this beautiful butterfly heart.
Other supplies needed are:
- Black Cardstock
- Rose Gold Embossing Powder + heat gun + embossing ink
- Black Nuvo
- Wow Embossing Pen
- Scissors
- Trust It Will Be Okay Stamp Set
To start I have trimmed the cardstock to 5.50 x4.25 inch.
Stamp the heart with Heat embossing ink on the edge of the cardstock.
Then cover with Rose Gold Heat Embossing and heat set or move on to stamping the sentiment from the same stamp set. Cover with rose gold too.
Grab the WOW embossing pen and add little dots all over the place, and again add more rose gold embossing powder and heat set.
Once it’s completely cool, we can move on to trimming. Grab your scissors and follow along with the heart. Then round out to the edge of the card to the shape is the top of the heart.
To finish up, I added black Nuvo Drops by drop and lift.
Guys that does it for me. Here is the full video tutorial on how to make this shaped card.
