Two anchor nautical cards in navy & gold ~ tutorial

September 16, 2020 - by Gaylynn

Two anchor nautical cards in navy & gold ~ tutorial

Hello, Gaylynn here.  For technique time today, I share two nautical cards with anchor stamping.  The colors are navy blue and gold with heat embossing and repeat stamping.

Here are two coordinating nautical cards, made clean and simple.

Sentiments:
Thanks
Big Huge Thanks

Helpful tips:

Here are helpful tips for creating this card.  To begin, trim or die-cut a narrow strip of navy cardstock.  Then stamp and heat emboss in gold onto the navy cardstock.  Next, use repeat stamping of the anchor near the top of the card base using a light natural or kraft color ink.  Optional, add a narrow trim strip to the navy panel area.  Finally, layer and adhere everything, to finish.
This is another look.

Here is my video tutorial for this project.  It will detail the full process.

Supplies:  Unity Stamp Co. Anchored, Big Huge Thanks and Heart of Autumn.
Also, original Misti, flat and foam double-sided tape, gold embossing powder, VersaMark ink, heat tool, EK powder tool, MFT cardstock and ink, My Creative Time Tall Frame Die Layers.
