Hi there! Today I am continuing on with the awesome purple and pink color combination for the month of October. I am playing with some fun Unity Stamp Company Deco Foil cards. The twist, ink blending for the florals, and Copic Coloring for the leaves.
For today’s project, we will be using the following products:
- Unity Stamp Co: Blossoming Thoughts & Wishes Stamp Set
- Deco Foil Flowers & Lines Toner Card Fronts
- Deco Foil Plum
- WOW Clear Sparkle
- Embossing & Watermark Ink
- Copic Markers
- Distress Oxide Wilted Violet & Seedless Preserves
- Purple Card stock
- Ribbon/Embellishment
- Laminator
To begin, place the Plum foil face up with purple up and place over the Toner Card Front. Run through the Laminator.
Once that is done, bring in the two Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet + Seedless Preserves. Blend the Seedless Preserves on the center of each floral, and blending out with Wilted Violet. This is an easy way to add color to the flowers.
For the leaves, using the Copic BG10, BG53. I did not do much blending to them as it was super easy to color.
With a dry cloth, wipe down the card front to remove the excess Distress Oxide Blends from the foil.
For the sentiment, using the sentiment from Blossimg Thoughts & Wishes stamp set on to a purple cardstock. Stamping with embossing ink and covering it with the glitter embossing powder. Then heat set. Trim the cardstock, add the foam adhesive to be placed to the back of the sentiment.
To finish up the card, I added a piece of ribbon and attached it to the back of the sentiment.
