Hi there! Welcome to my Tuesday color combos with Crystal on this first week of October. For this month, I am focusing on bright color combinations that are NOT fall-themed at all.
For the next 4 weeks, we are going to play with this color combination with different stamps, not necessarily Halloween cards.
For this project, you will need the following:
- Entanglement Stamp Set
- Violet Cardstock
- Clear Heat Embossing
- Heat Embossing Supplies
- Ink Blenders
- Distress Oxide: Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet
- Script Die
To begin making the card trim the Violet cardstock to 4.25x 5.50 inches.
Then with embossing ink, stamp the Entanglement Stamp Set, add clear heat embossing powder and heat set.
Then grab your ink blender, start with Seedless Preserves blending 3 circles on the edges and move on to Wilted Violet to blend on either side of the Seedless Preserves and blend those.
Then add some splatters of water and white paint. Once it’s dried, wipe down the Distress Oxide from the Clear Heat Embossing Powder to expose it.
Moving on to the die cuts, die-cut a shape such as a Chevron and blend with the inky blenders. Then add some water and paint splatters.
The Hello Friend was die cut from black cardstock. Add the sentiment die to the top of the Chevron die.
Finish up with the little spider from Entanglement Stamp, stamped with black ink, and then fuzzy cut.
I finished the whole card is put together and add a bit of Nuvo Drops.
That is all for me today, let me know your thoughts on the newest Color Combination.
