Hello everyone! Welcome to my first-ever month long Unity card challenge, titled, the Warm Red/Cool Blue Challenge! I hope you have fun coming up with entries meeting the challenge… note… anything goes! Any media, any format (cards, tags, journals, etc.), any occasion, and all the wonderful Unity stamps are fair game in this one!
I am challenging you to come up with your own palette colors, with a starting point that you must include a warm red and a cool blue in your palette. (Picture provided by my crafty friend, Michelle Domescek!)
You’ll see in my first example, using the beautiful Autumn Stoop kit, I’ve also included tan, brown, orange and green colors! I began this card by stamping the image in Archival Coffee on watercolor paper, and used Schmincke watercolors and then Prismacolor pencils to color and add detail to the image. I fussy cut one side of the paper and mounted the paper onto Doodlebug patterned paper. An ephemera piece and enamel dots are used to embellish the card.
I am really looking forward to seeing all the wonderful creations that pop up during the month! Have fun playing with different color combos!
