Hi there! Crystal Thompson here for Color Combos with Crystal! Today I am having a very festive Holiday Edition color combination, easy foiling, and fast Copic coloring.
For today’s card, we are using the Christmas Wishes from Graciellie Designs, this has been stamped with TONER INK from Heidi Swapp, stamped this just as normal stamping ink. The florals and sentiment are from the Christmas Wishes stamp set.
We are bringing in red foil for this. So place the card face up, and foil face up, so the ink can adhere to foil and stick. Run it through the Mini Mink or laminator. Once that is done, we will begin to color with two basic Copic markers.
For the leaves of this image. we will use two shades for green Copics. G82 for the main green color of the leaves and YG99 for the shadow. Then for the berries using R14 for the entire berry and R27 for the shadow. Color the entire image then add dots of the same colors over the left and right corners.
Embellish with tiny red dots of Nuvo drops, done as small as possible to keep the berries from the image to be the main point.
