Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Hope this day brings you joy sharing with your loved ones and fond memories of those who can’t be with you! Remember to touch base with those home alone.
I also wanted to express my sincere thanks for all of you fellow crafters with this special card-! And, to remind you that there is one week left of the Holiday Card Challenge!
I started this card by stamping the image from Uniquely Unity’s Greetings of Autumn kit, using a combo of Antique Linen Oxide ink and Plum Archival ink. I then watercolored the image using my Schmincke watercolors and used pens to add details. I fussy cut out the image, stamped and clear embossed, using a Gina K ink, the sentiment from the Pumpkin Blossoms kit. I die cut a circle out of scrap paper to back the image.
I created the background on Bristol paper. I first sprayed the paper with a sprayer filled with a mixture of white and gold Perfect Pearls that I always have on hand. I then sprinkled Primary Elements pigments in Autumn Leaf and a teal color and sprayed those with water. To cover the paper I dipped the paper in the run-off puddle. I dried the paper and sprinkled it once more to get small darker patches and let that dry. I then spattered a dark burgundy Gansai Tambi watercolor over the paper.
I die cut this paper to fit an A6 creme colored card. I added a light teal ribbon and bow and some sparkly dark rose colored crystals.
Remember to enter your holiday cards into the Challenge album for your chance at winning Unity stamps!
