Have you entered any of your holiday cards into Unity’s Holiday Card Challenge on their Show & Tell Facebook page? I see a lot of inspiration has already shown up, but there’s always room for new styles and ideas! As a matter of fact, this week I’ve gone retro! How fun is that?
I paired Unity’s Vintage Christmas Kit with old BoBunny paper and ribbon, Tim Holtz Christmas ephemera, a Recollections poinsettia and red crystals to create this vintage card. This was so easy to do! Just emboss both the image and sentiment and a small piece of the image (with white, green and red powders or ink). Cut all the pieces down, back the sentiment, paper piece the postage mark on the image, and distress the edges of everything (including ephemera). Pull it all together on a Kraft card base and you are done!
