Happy First Tuesday of December! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving, we kept it quiet around here (as quiet as you get with 4 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat) however I did get into some crafty time and I am obsessed with FOIL! My goodness, this stuff is amazing and THE easiest way to create some super fast cards.
For today’s project, I am inspired by tropical colors mixed with gold foil.
So, you will need one of the previously released Deco Foil Toner cards called Holiday lights, along with the stamp set Christmas Wishes for the sentiment.
Let’s get started with the fabulous card by foiling the Holiday Lights Card fronts with gold foil. Stamp the Seasons Greetings from the Christmas Wishes with toner ink and foil right along with the card front.
Once that is done, grab two colors of Distress Oxides in Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick. Blend the Dried Marigold on the top and the Worn Lipstick on to the bottom of the card and blend both towards the center.
Repeat this process to the sentiment strip, even though it’s going to be placed horizontally. Once you are done, clean off with a lint-free (dry wipe) to remove the excess ink from the foil.
Placing the sentiment strip with foam adhesive, slightly centered on the card.
To finish up, embellishing with gold and diamond style crystals on the edges of the sentiment.
