Hi there! Today on Color Combos with Crystal I have a SPRING inspired card using some awesome pattern paper to create THE easiest card ever, and it will leave you grabbing sentiment stamps for your future cardmaking adventures.
This color combination as mentioned is Spring inspired and we are stocking up on making Birthday cards for 2021.
For this project we will be using the following products:
- Easter Wishes Pattern Paper for Echo Park
- Unity Stamp Company: So Glad You Where Born Stamp Set
- Mint cardstock
- White Heat Embossing
- Adhesive
- White paint or white watercolor for splatters
- Embellishments
To make this card we are trimming up the card panel to A2 size of 5.50 inches by 4.25. The plaid side of the Easter Wishes Pattern Paper.
Then using the floral side of Easter Wishes Pattern Paper trimmed at 5.00 by 3.75 inches. Adhere the smaller cut the plaid with flat adhesive and splatter with white ink or white watercolor and set aside to dry.
Now onto a piece of mint cardstock, die-cut a circle, and heat emboss in white the “It’s your birthday, time to celebrate” sentiment from the So Glad you Where born Stamp set. Heat set and let cool. Repeat this process with the hearts from the same stamp set, yet fuzzy cut the hearts instead of die cutting.
To put the card together, add some scrap pieces of the Easter Wishes to the central area of the card, add the circle sentiment, and embellish with the hearts from the So Glad you Where Born Stamp set. To finish up, add fussy cut florals from the same pattern paper and water droplets with liquid glue.
The whole thing is quite easy to make and a great way to use those Springtime pattern paper packs.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you get lots of crafting done today.
