Stamped Floral Background | Pastel Color Combos with Crystal

Stamped Floral Background | Pastel Color Combos with Crystal

Hi there! Welcome to my post on Color Combos with Crystal. Today we will be creating a pastel card with absolutely no coloring, and layering it over some gorgeous pattern paper. This card is super easy to make with minimal supplies and it’s quite fast to make too!

For this card you will need the following products:

  1. Unity Stamp Company: Every Single Day Stamp Set
  2. Echo Park Paper: Easter Wishes
  3. White Cardstock
  4. Light teal & Light Yellow Ink Pads
  5. Light yellow cardstock
  6. Iridescent embellishments.
  7. Watercolor Palette with White and Yellow

To make this card we are going to trim the pattern paper to 4.25 x 5.50 to match our card base. Then the center solid yellow cardstock will be 3.75 x 4 inches.

Stamp the floral image from Every Singe Day stamp using a similar yellow ink pad. I used Stamping Up Daffodil Delight. The flowers are stamped on the center-right and lower left leaving some empty spaces.

The empty spaces will have a splatter of white and yellow watercolor to add dimension and a bit more color. I am moving that to the side and allowing it to dry.

Now, on to the sentiment. Grab the white cardstock and stamp the “Just Because” in aquatini (light teal) ink then fuzzy cut around it to create a sentiment cut 🙂

To put the whole thing together, place the yellow cardstock over the pattern paper, add the sentiment “just because” then add the sticker sentiment to it. The whole thing will be finished up with a few clear embellishments.

I can show you, better than I can tell you. So watch the video above and let me know your thougths!

Have a great day!
