Hi there! Welcome to our first Color Combos with Crystal, doing some Tone on Tone stamping and background stamping that gives off a soft and gentle effect.
For this card, we will be using Magnolia Blossom along with pattern paper for the basic inspirations and basic supplies.
The supplies needed are:
- Magnolia Blossom Unity Stamp Set
- Pattern Paper Sheet of your favorite color combination
- Solid Cardstock
- Clear Heat embossing ink
- Black Ink
- Embellishments
Trim the pattern paper to 5.50 x 4.25, then the peachy solid cardstock to 5.00 x 3.75 inches.
Using the Clear Heat embossing ink, stamp the solid image floral from the Magnolia Blossom to the solid cardstock. As it dries the ink will be one to two tones darker than the cardstock.
Once that dries up, bring in the black ink and stamp the outline of the flowers slightly over the solid ones we just stamped. Then set aside to dry.
Then splatter the patterned cardstock with black ink or black watercolor.
Now on a white piece of cardstock, stamp the sentiment of choice using an ink color similar to the solid cardstock. Then fussy cut around it, add foam adhesive, and prepare for placement.
To put that whole thing together by adding foam adhesive to the solid cardstock, and place it over the pattern paper. Using white and black in watercolors or paint, splatter the whole thing with these.
Then add the sentiment to the solid cardstock, and embellish with Black Nuvo drops and white Nuvo drops staying with the pattern of the ink splatters.
Guys, that does it for me today! I hope you enjoy this quick video tutorial on this card.
Happy Tuesday!
