Happy March, Friends…
Goodness, what a bold colorful mix of cards I have to share today. I’m excited to be sharing projects using the Unity Stamp Company sentiment kit – Doily Hugs and Wishes. It pops perfectly against a vibrant watercolor background.

The Project
The Details
I’m getting a bit messy today. It was worth the mess for these gorgeous and vibrant backgrounds. Really, they are so easy to create. Check out the video for tips on how to create these amazing backgrounds. 
For this pair of cards, I decided to stamp the doilies on the front and heat emboss them in white. They just pop off the background. Then I matched them with a few sentiments and some black Nuvo Drops.
I thought I’d mix things up with this layout. My intent was to pop that scalloped panel up straight in the middle of the card, but a die-cutting mishap changed that plan. So in the corner, it went and I’m not mad about it. Still a lovely layout. I love the swirly look of this background. You really get to see all the colors with this more simple stamping design.
