Hi there! Crystal here with a Color Combos with Crystal to finish up the month of March with this month’s Whit Kit Card 2021. The color combination is a beautiful bright array of colors that are Spring Inspired.
This card is using all the products included in the March 2021 Whit Kit, and some basic watercolor. So to gather the supplies:
- Golden Marble Paper Pack
- Wayward Floral Stamp Set
- Craft Perfect A2 Watercolor Cardstock
- Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Atlantis Burst
- Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Golden Sparkler
- White Embossing Powder
- Foam Adhesive
- Gold Thread
- Gold Sequins
To begin, I trimmed the beautiful Golden Marble Pack 5.50x 4.25 inches. Then on a separate piece of cardstock in mint, 2.25in x 2.25in , then a white cardstock in 2in x 2in. To add some dimension to the mint cardstock, I used the clear Nuvo drops and splattered with Atlantis Burst.
I grabbed the golden thread and used the foam adhesive on the back of the teal square to secure the thread. Then I added gold watercolor splatter, and added the flowers from Wayward Florals Stamp set water colored over the Craft Perfect A2 Watercolor Cardstock, fuzzy cut around it and placed foam adhesive behind the flowers and added to the square.
Then with mint cardstock, I heat embossed the happy birthday on white, then fuzzy cut around it. Added sequins to embellish the card.
The whole thing came out very detailed, full of color and dimension.
