Hi friends! This is Sandhya bringing you fresh inspiration for the March challenge – All Things Spring over at the Unity Show and Tell Facebook Page. Today, I will be showing you how I made this heat embossed spring card featuring the March KOM from Unity Stamp Company.
Technique Details for Heat Embossed Spring Card
I tried a fun gelli printing technique with dye inks from Catherine Pooler to create my background. Then, I did some repeat stamping and heat embossed over it with Rose Glintz – WOW Embossing Powder. I love the glintz effect of this embossing powder. You can watch my process in the video below or head over to my YouTube Channel to watch it in HD. https://youtu.be/_o7uY-vxaU4
Here’s a list of the featured products I used in my projects. I have included affiliate links in some cases to help me earn a tiny commission at no additional cost to you when you shop through them.
- Hope to be – Unity Stamp Company

- Gelli Plate
- WOW Embossing Powder – Rose glintz

I also made another card featuring a similar technique, where I replaced the heat embossing with a stamped background stamp and added a colored image from the March 2021 KOM. This background stamp is a brand new release called Spring in your step and is a very versatile background from spring and Easter cards. You can check it out along with all the new releases here.
That brings us to the end of today’s post. I sure hope you give this technique a try. I look forward to seeing your awesome creations in the challenge album on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook Page. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
