Hi there! Crystal here with a super fun color combination using the newest stencil release from Unity. This month a super awesome stencil called LAYERING TULIP STENCIL has brought a ton of inspiration from the design team. I wanted to create an easy background with this stencil using minimal supplies!
For this card you will need the following products:
- Layering Tulip Stencil
- Wayward Florals
- Blending Inks
- Blending brushes
- Cream colored cardstock
- Teal Cardstock
- Embellishments
To begin with this card, I trimmed the teal cardstock 5.50x 4.25 inches, then the cream cardstock to 5.25 x 4.00 inches. Then I grabbed my stencil and ink blending supplies.
Using Distress Oxides in Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover, I stenciled the leaves from the first set of the stencil with both colors, rotating the cardstock be able to blend each corner with leaves.
Then with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide, I blended the thicker tulips in the area according to the leaves. Again rotating the cardstock to get each corner.
With the Wayward Florals ” happy birthday”, I stamped it simply with black ink onto the left center of the card.
Now to put the card together, I placed the stenciled cardstock with a sheet of foam over the teal card base.
The whole thing was then embellished with clear crystal like gems, using a clear glue.
I think this card came together super nicely with an easy background of Tulips.
Here is a full tutorial video of the card, I hope you recreated it!
