Happy Tuesday! Today on color combos with Crystal. I have a soft and delicate card using the latest Slim Line Tulip stamp and pairing it with some GORGEOUS Golden Marble pattern paper. The whole thing comes together nicely, and not many supplies are needed to create this look!
Let me tell you about this awesome color combination. For the Tulips I am using a set of pinks and beige to create a coral color . Then for the leaves I have a mint base with tones of grass green and turquoise to give the whole thing a soft look.
For this project I used the following products:
- Every Single Day
- Slimline Tulips
- Golden Marble Paper Pack
- Watercolor Cardstock
- Glitter Cardstock
- Zig Clean Color Markers
- Vellum
- Silver Embossing Powder
- Foam Adhesive
- Silver Embellishments
To start, I cut the Golden Marble paper pack to 5.50 x 4.25, the same with the sheet of watercolor cardstock. Then I cut the watercolor paper from corner to corner. Using colors inspiration for the Tulips, I watercolor splatters to the watercolor cardstock and set aside to dry .
For the tulips, I stamped those onto another piece of watercolor cardstock with brown ink. Using the Zig Clean Color Markers I colored the entire image with a water brush and the watercolors. Once they were dried up I did add some golden watercolor swipes to give them a metallic look.
While the tulips dry up, I add the pieces of glitter cardstock to the back of the watercolor corner, fuzzy cut the whole thing, then added foam adhesive.
This corner was then placed to the top of the Marble card base. The tulips are placed over both cardstocks. For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed in silver over vellum, and adhered to the card.
To finish up, I added Silver Jewels.
I created a full video tutorial on this project that I hope you enjoy.
Thanks so much for stopping by..
