Hello Friends…
I am stamping with some beautiful Unity Stamp Company stamp sets today. I paired two fabulous stamp sets with a bit of soft ink blending and dimension for this birthday card. My amazing and beautiful Grandma turned 99 years young at the end of April. This card is for her and all the little touches were made with her in mind.

The Details
I’ve had this idea in my head for a very long time. I was just waiting for the perfect floral set to come along to make it happen.
The florals in the You Go Girl stamp set are simply lovely. There is a cluster of flowers and leaves and then a separate branch of just leaves. Because the two images were separate, I was able to arrange them around the card in the perfect position to frame the sentiment.
I choose the “happy” and “birthday” words from the Heart of Autumn stamp set. They were just the perfect size to create a focal point for the floral border.
I started by blending some Milled Lavender and Speckled Egg Distress Ink onto some cardstock. I focused the blue mainly in the center and then a light halo of purple around the edge. After that, I stamped my sentiments in black.
Next, I stamped and fussy cut four of the floral stamps and two of the leaf branches. Then, I popped them up around the edge of the card and trimmed them off to meet the edge.
Once that was all in place, I lined the right side of the card with some black cardstock, popped up my panel, and added a few lilac Nuvo Drops for the perfect little accent.
Then, I mailed this card to my Grandma. It matched the colors of the flowers I sent her for her birthday too.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are inspired by today’s project. If you create something, I’d love to see it. Join us in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group to share your card and tag me.
