Hello, Gaylynn here. Combining hummingbird Copic coloring with a pretty stamped background makes card making easy. Today, on the Unity blog, I am sharing a way to add color to the bird while keeping the background stamping simple.
For this card, I added hummingbird Copic coloring over a palm background of the month color cardstock panel. The combination of the sentiment kit with the background worked perfectly together.
Sentiment:
You brighten my day.
So happy to have you in my life.
Helpful tips:
Here are helpful tips for making this card with hummingbird Copic coloring. To begin, stamp the palm background onto smooth green color cardstock using black ink. Also, trim or die-cut the background card panel. Next, stamp the bird and the two sentiments onto white cardstock, using Copic friendly ink. Then, trim or die-cut the bird panel to fit over the background piece. Next, add color to the bird panel in bright shades using Copics or your choice of color medium. Also, make a flag accent by trimming and adhering three small overlapping flags. Finally, assemble the card layers, to finish.
