Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. For today I’m doing some masking and ink blending (with a quick fix for a little oops as well!), and some simple silhouette stamping with some sparkly jewel embellishments!

I purposely wanted to create an ink blended panel that was smaller than my stamped image – and this image was so lovely, it was great to keep the stamping on it simple and create a background to help those flowers shine!
You might notice that little extra striped effect on the edges of the masked panel – that was a mistake I made by ink blending too hard, and peeling up my masking tape a bit and smudging ink under it. Instead of throwing the panel away as I thought of doing for a second, I thought I’d try to see if I could salvage it. I actually love the effect that ended up happening with the fix, and may have to try doing it again! Love when things work out that way!
A few sparkly jewels are the perfect finishing touch for this clean and simple card!
