Happy Hummingbirds…
Hello, my crafty friends. It is Sentiment Saturday time. I’m playing with some Karin watercolors this week and the brand new Perfect Day Hummingbird Unity Stamp Company sentiment kit for June 2021. Such a darling little bird and so fun to color up.

The Cards
I pulled out my Karin Brushmarker Pro watercolor markers this week. I’m still learning how to use these markers. I absolutely love them, but my watercolor skills are slightly limited. Each time I try something new I learn so much more.
I was going for a looser watercolor look. Haha. I don’t know technical terms. In the end, I’m pretty happy with the results. I just need to trust the process and keep having fun while learning this medium.
I finished off the card with a sweet and simple layout. My favorite kind. Just a bit of twine and clear Nuvo Drops to finish everything off. 
I used the same watercolor method for my second hummingbird but just changing up the breast color to purple. Just so sweet. I love how this came together.
I went with some different pattern papers and layout for this one. Still super simple but loving the different look.
