Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Today’s card mixes the fun of the added size and canvas of a slimline card, with a fun peekaboo window to tuck this adorable giraffe into, giving the illusion of it peeking out at you!

I love this giraffe paired up with this large and lovely sentiment, so a slimline card seemed like the perfect size to be able to use them both on one card – I love the extra size to work with!
I did some very simple coloring of the giraffe with my Copic markers – instead of coloring everything, I only colored certain places, leaving other parts of the image white. I then fussy cut it out so I could tuck it into my die cut window, adding to the illusion of it popping through the window.
Isn’t that sentiment great?!? I love the way it perfect fits on the bottom of this card!
The card base is created from woodgrain cardstock, and the front panel is ivory cardstock – these work together perfectly to offset the white spaces in the image. A few sparkly jewels finish this card off!
