Happy Friday, Unies! It’s Julissa of Paper Gems by Jules back on the blog for a fun card that doesn’t require any stamps! (Say what!?) Yep, I said it, NO STAMPS! Check it out!
I start by die cutting the background layer of this “Say It Big” die set. Remove the die cut piece and used the rest as a stencil to color in the background using Distress Oxide in Patina. From here, I used a stencil to create the rays beaming from that solid section. Next, die cut three layers of the “thank you” piece, glue them together and color the top layer using Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide.
Before putting that Rusty Hinge Oxide away, I laid the die cut background over the colored portion and splattered some of the Rusty Hinge and copper perfect pearls over the piece. Remove the die cut background piece and adhere the “thank you” in the center.
