Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. For today’s card I’m doing a fun technique with some super simple Copic coloring, with white heat embossing for a unique and magical look!

I love the intricacy of this image! I started off by stamping it with a soft gray ink, and even that with no coloring was pretty lovely!
I colored the image with Copic markers, then heat embossed over it again. This was easy, since I still had my image lined up in my MISTI to allow for it. It changes the appearance of the entire image, and gives it a soft magical look!
While you could heat emboss first, then color, some of the Copic marker will inevitably go over the white heat embossing, and therefore color it. Doing this keeps all that heat embossing amazingly crisp and white!
