Hello crafty friends! Sandhya here and today I am sharing a “sending love” card I made using the brand new September Aster Stamp that is releasing later today. I am so excited to introduce the next flower in the birth flower series that I have been illustrating in 2021. And I am not only sharing the card I made using this stamp, but also a few sketch ideas for using this set.
Sending Love Card | September Aster Stamp
I started by stamping the floral cluster on diagonally opposite corners of a mini-slimline card panel cut out of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. For stamping, I used Copic-friendly black ink – Gina K Amalgam Black. Next, I plucked a mix of dark, medium, and light shades of blue, purple, and pink Copic markers from my collection. I also picked out a few greens for the leaves and then went on to color the images.
Once I was done coloring, I trimmed the panel so that it would fit nicely on a purple die-cut mat. I die cut this using a Gina Marie designs mini-slimline die. Then, I splattered with black and gold and also stamped the sentiment from this kit.
Finally, I adhered the panel to the mat and assembled the mini-slimline card on a white card base. This completes my card for today. I am adding a few other sketch ideas that were running through my head as I was creating this stamp set. If you happen to be inspired to create using these sketches, please do share them on the Unity Show and Tell group over on Facebook and be sure to tag me so I don’t miss your post.
