Hello Friends…
The September 2021 Sunflower Wishes sentiment kit from Unity Stamp Company has me dreaming of fall. Especially since fall is my favorite. Before you know it, it will be time for warm sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spice lattes. Yay.
Featured Stamp Set
I love sunflowers and decided to make this one big with a bunch of sentiments. Love the mix of scripty and typewriter fonts. Plus the little bees are a cute bonus.

The Card
The Details
This gorgeous Sunflower stamp had me running for my box of markers. I couldn’t wait to color it in. It really went quite easy. I just took a section at a time and before I knew it, I was done.
I was inspired by this gorgeous Red Sun sunflower. The colors were so different from a traditional yellow sunflower and I couldn’t wait to try to recreate it with this card.
To start, I stamped the big sunflowers onto some white cardstock. I grabbed the little bitty bee and stamped a few in between. Then, I took my time and used Copic markers to color each flower. Once those were done, I used a dark blue marker to fill in the background. I just love the way those Red Sun sunflowers just pop against the dark blue background.
Then, I just die cut it out, and matted it on the card. Added a popped-up sentiment and finish it off with a few gold sequins.
Here is the list of Copic colors used:
Petals: Y02, Y15; R02, R05, R08
Bees: Y15, B00
Background: B39
Center: E53, E57, E59
