Hello crafty friends! Sandhya here and today I am sharing a colorful fall card featuring the Autumn Grunge stamp set. The sentiment is from the Blessings of Fall stamp set. I had fun with good old stamping and splattering.
I started with an A2 size Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock and ink blended using Antique linen Distress Oxide ink. To add more interest, I blended from the edges towards the center, purposely keeping it uneven rather than a smoothly blended background.
Then, I used Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge, Fossilized Amber, and Rustic wilderness to stamp the leaves. I positioned each leaf on my Misti stamping tool and stamped, and then rotated my cardstock to stamp again. Once I finishes stamping, I added Distress micro-glaze over it to make the colors come alive and also lock them in.
Next, I ripped a strip of Neenah cardstock and stamped my sentiment using the same fall-toned Distress Oxides. I added some waxed cord to the strip and adhered it to the panel using foam tape. I adhered it to a card base and finished off with some splatters using Rusty hinge spray stain.
