Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. When I first saw the October Kit of the Month, I absolutely fell in love with this darling little A-frame cabin – my hubby loves these, and really wants to own one someday! So I knew I had to make a card featuring it. 🙂
This definitely felt like the perfect image to pair up with some cozy pattern paper – so I pulled out an older pattern paper pad in my stash and started planning how to lay it out.
I first cut a window from a panel of the red paper, then tucked some white cardstock with a torn edge under in, stamping the sentiment in that space as well (I know I used this sentiment earlier this month – but it really was the perfect fit for this image, so I had to use it again!)
I added the black constellation pattern paper behind that, popping the front portions up on foam adhesive for some dimension, then tucked the little fussy cut out cabin under the edge of the white cardstock (to look like drifting snow) and finished off with a tiny red heart jewel and some twine wrapped around and tied in a bow to finish off!
