Hello crafty friends! Sandhya here and I am sharing two seasonal shaker cards featuring two new backgrounds from today’s release at Unity Stamp Co. Today I am also using sentiments from the new Festive Wreath stamp set and the Anemone Greetings stamp set designed by Graciellie Design.
A Blanket of Snow | Seasonal Shaker Card
For this card, I stamped the Balnked of Snow background stamp on a piece of acetate using Stazon Teal blue ink. Next, I stamped the Peace and Joy Sentiment over it in black Stazon. Next, I sprayed some Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress spray stains on a piece of watercolor cardstock. I tried it with a heat tool and spritzed some Distress Mica Stain -Snow flurries over it.
Finally, I create a shaker pocket over the sprayed background using the stamped acetate. You can check out the tutorial for this technique from my Birthday Shaker Cards Post. That post includes a YouTube Video for this technique. I filled the shaker pocket with an assortment of glitter and seed beads and adhered it to an A2 card base.
Sprig Background | Seasonal Shaker Card
I repeated the same technique over an alcohol ink background to create a fall card too. This time I used the new Sprig Background stamp and a sentiment from the Anemobe Greetings stamp set. Here are some close-up pictures.
