Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. You can read all the details and info to sign up HERE, and see this month’s kit as well.
Lately I feel like I’ve been doing lots of fall and winter or Christmas theme cards – so today I’m using one of the adorable images in the November Kit of the Month to jump forward to a bit of a Valentine feeling card!
This little jar of hearts is so adorable – I stamped it on my cardbase and added the perfect little sentiment nestled in there, and then added some coloring with Coipic makers.
I created a fun cluster of embellishments in the extra space in the top right corner – been a while since I have done that, so was kind of fun! I used a scrap of doily folded around to the back of the card, a couple strips of washi tape, and some jute string twisted into a bow and held in place with some tiny staples.
I added some sparkly clear Nuvo glitter drops over the hearts for some extra sparkle – love how it dries clear and shows the coloring underneath!
There is a touch of Distress Ink in Antique Linen inked around the edges to soften the sharp white edge, and some pretty coordinating pattern paper tucked under the panel. Finishing touch is a tiny row of pink jewels on the side of the sentiment heart to help it pop!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you back here next week – have a wonderful week!
