Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. You can read all the details and info to sign up HERE, and see this month’s kit as well.
Today is a super sweet layered design using one of the images in the newest kit for December!
I had so much fun coloring up this little gumball machine with my Copic markers! I went for a fun vintage feel to it – and sherbet colors of gumballs, then fussy cut the image out.
I layered up some gingham pattern paper from my stash that coordinated with the colors I used on my image, making them offset, and curling up the edges of the paper for a touch of dimension – only the gumball machine and sentiment are mounted with foam adhesive, so it keeps the card from being to bulky, without having to sacrifice the dimensional feel!
I tied a bow around the machine, added that with foam adhesive, then trimmed my sentiment at each word, mounting that with foam adhesive as well. Finished off with a few coordinating enamel dots – and this card is done!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope to see you back here next week – have a wonderful week!
