Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. Today’s card is a fun combo of pink and white, with a touch of crisp black for the sentiment!
I loved that huge and fancy medallion image, and thought it would be gorgeous stamped and heat embossed in white on colored cardstock. Pretty much any color would work – that didn’t matter…but I think this pink was dreamy and perfect for it!
I trimmed it in half after stamping and heat embossing. I actually was going to keep the center pointing to itself, and as I was adhering it down with foam adhesive, I turned one of them around, and fell in love with the different arrangement. Just like that, I reversed my plan – and I love the slightly different layout!
I added a sentiment stamped in the open space of the card, a few white pearls for texture, and then pulled out a white gel pen to add some detail dots around the outside of the image. Didn’t need it of course, but it was fun to customize it a bit with those extra doodles!
