Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy to be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Who DOESN’T love getting a happy package of stamps in the mail every month, right? And these kits just keep getting better and better. Today I’m sharing this monochromatic butterfly beauty!
For this card, I started by using some pretty aqua cardstock, and stamping on it in 3 different shades of aqua. The lightest is super soft – almost tone on tone! I used the 3 butterfly images from the kit, and randomly stamped them around the left side of the panel, leaving space for the sentiment.
Sentiment I stamped and heat embossed in white, then I masked that off, and added some white splatters to the rest of the background for extra texture and interest.
Finally, I added a die cut scallop frame in white, popped up on foam adhesive, and a few sparkly white jewels to frame the sentiment and draw some attention there!
