Blessed Adventures birthday- January Nature Challenge.
Happy New Year crafty friends! Echo here hosting the brand new January Challenge over on the Unity Show N Tell Facebook group. All things nature- flower, trees, and animals. Today I am sharing a set of birthday cards I made using the Blessed Adventures stamp kit.
I love how this set came out and they are super simple to make. Great for building your birthday card stash. Here’s how I did made them.
Started with a die cut card panel. I used the larger of the new rectangle dies. Then using the tree stamp I stamped 4 trees in gold pigment ink across the card panel and embossed with gold embossing powder.
Next I stamped the tree in between the gold embossed trees in Gina K fresh asparagus ink.
Stamped the happy birthday sentiment from Special Wishes sentiment kit in Gina K fresh asparagus ink. Then cut sentiment into a banner strip.
I used the large scallop die and die cut a piece of gold card stock.
Here is the completed card. I had so much fun with this card that I played around with different color combos to see which one I liked best. Now I can’t decide but, at least I have a few birthday cards on hand or can give this set as a gift.
